Aleks (she/her) is the Director of The Pleasure Centre, and a certified Sex, Relationships and Body Image therapist who works with all gender & sexual identities.
Her practice is sex-positive, and founded within intersectional feminist and queer theories.
Aleks has specialty training in issues of sexuality, sexual function, relationships, body image, eating disorders, trauma and anxiety.
Aleks works in Private Practice, and works with sexual wellness brands to provide editorial articles, blogs, and content for Instagram and TikTok.
The Pleasure Centre was established to provide sex-pos, sex education and support, considering how limited such resources are in schools for many of us.
Aleks’ knowledge base is quite extensive, having worked in psychiatric facilities, and private practice.
Aleks has completed way too many degrees, including a Bachelor in Psychology, A Masters in Counselling (Research), and a Post-Grad Diploma in Sexology.
She is registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), and the Society of Australian Sexologists (SAS).
She attends monthly individual, and group supervisions. She also engages in continuing professional development, studying to ensure best practice.
She likes crocheting and hanging out with her dog, Roger (pictured).

Bachelor in Science/Psychology from The University of Sydney
