About

We all have relationships we value.
And we all have a relationship to sex and sexuality.

Over the course of your life, you’re likely to experience challenges in both. But how many of us were ever taught the skills to navigate them?

I’m Aleks (she/her), a Sex, Relationships, Body Image and Trauma therapist. I created The Pleasure Centre in 2020 to help people of all genders and sexualities understand their bodies, their desire, and feel more confident, connected, and at ease in their relationships.

Because most of us were never taught how sex, desire, or intimacy actually works.

my approach

Beside therapy, I like to hang with my dog and crochet.

Therapy is a space to build those skills. I combine evidence-based therapy with a sex-positive, non-judgemental approach, helping you make sense of what’s happening in a way that feels grounded and practical.

This might include:

  • working through anxiety or pressure around sex

  • understanding your desire and what affects it

  • rebuilding connection with your body

  • improving communication and intimacy in relationships

specialities

I completed 3 degrees to become a certified Sex Therapist. A Bachelor of Psychology, a Masters of Counselling, and a Post Grad Diploma in Sexology.

Alongside private practice, I work as a speaker, writer, content creator, and intimacy coordinator. It’s incredibly meaningful to me that I can contribute to conversations around sex, relationships, and body image across media and education.
